About Us

St. Mark Catholic Elementary School opened in Beamsville in 2001 to serve the growing west Niagara community. Named for one of the gospel writers, St. Mark Catholic Elementary School is Home of the Mountain Lions (future Blessed Trinity Thunder). Nearly 700 students in kindergarten through Grade 8 attend St. Mark Catholic Elementary School today.

Inspired by the spirit of St. Mark, the St. Mark Catholic Elementary School community upholds integrity, respect, and compassion. Guided by his example and led by a team of professional Catholic educators, students at St. Mark Catholic Elementary School focus on growing in faith, deepening knowledge, and serving others. Each person's uniqueness is celebrated and honored in an environment that promotes equity, dignity, and the pursuit of personal excellence.

Before and after-school childcare is available at St. Mark Catholic Elementary School through the YMCA.

St. Mark Catholic Elementary School is part of the Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School family of schools and the St. Helen parish community.
